Tokyo 2025 is the name of our first event and our theme. We are inspired by the Japanese culture. Their people have the ability to mix their rich old traditions of honor, tea ceremonies, and temples in the same environment as skyscrapers, hi-tech cellphones, and the latest fashions. It is this dichotomy, these contradictory parts and their combination, that allows for a rich culture of diversity and innovation. We acknowledge them and ask for their latitude as we take inspiration from them and create an innovative event based on it for people in Seattle to experience.

Tokyo 2025 is being produced by Social Living Productions whose mission is to improve urban relationships through the arts; to build social capital. We are out to create a public platform for artists to express their art and facilitate interaction with and between participants of that art. Art and its ability to touch and connect people is the means in which we aim to build social capital.
